Neck: Fat and warm yet open, with a stronger midrange than the 2250’s. Exhibiting the characteristics of the Alnico 2 magnets with an articulate vocal quality and a woody flavor. When compared to the 2250’s there is a little more attack and good power.
Middle: Has the same qualities as the neck but reverse wound and with reverse polarity for hum canceling in switch position 2 and 4. When compared to the 2250’s there is a little more attack and good power.
Bridge: Exhibits the same characteristics as the neck but has a few hundred extra turns of wire. When compared to the 2250’s there is a little more attack and good power.
